at the same time, i know what settling into a new place (let alone country) can feel like, and sometimes you need the extra time to really feel things out, and see what's available and what you are capable of.
i guess more details are really needed before an informed decision can really be made...
I think you should stay for a bit more and enjoy it...you only live once and not many people are able to say that they attended Grad school over seas and then continued to live there! Do it! Then decide later about the whole economic issue coupled with acting, you have time...

I think the first year in a new place is the hardest. So I say stick it out.
The question revolves more around:
Do I stay in a country where I could potentially not be able to act for money?

I think you should try to hack it in the UK. New York will always be there if things don't work out.
